NNL Members, Prospectives,
and Sponsors,
Hello!
At the time of
writing this letter, we still have not had a real snowstorm!
Wouldn’t it be fun to be inside your warm and comfy
houses,
looking out into the blowing, drifting snow? You could be reading,
cooking, knitting, catching up
on the news, sleeping, listening to music, or
playing in the snow with your kids, who would have a day off from school.
LeeAnn and the Ski Club members could head out to the nearby slopes.
We’ll see what the weather will
bring this month!
Some New
Neighbors enjoyed the ice sculptures in downtown Canton on
January’s First Friday “Ice Ice Baby” celebration.
A seahorse, dog, guitar,
peace statue, koala bear, diamond ring, and martini glass,
were among the many amazing
ice sculptures that were created
and on display that evening throughout the downtown area.
Next year,
we’ll have to plan ahead so that more
New Neighbors can come out and enjoy the festivities.
We invite you to partake in the many February activities
that you’ll read about in this Happy Talk issue.
If you enjoy playing cards, you may want to join us for
Euchre once a month.
We would like to have a few more subs on our sub list.
Have a great February and a Happy Valentine’s
Day to all!!
Sandy
and Ruth
